Hi, I'm Andrew Smyser. I founded Footprint Plus LLC after more than a decade of helping organizations — from multinational corporations to small regional businesses and municipalities — understand and reduce their carbon footprint.
My background spans corporate carbon accounting, regional energy efficiency program management, and municipal decarbonization strategy. Before founding Footprint Plus, I worked as a Sustainability Consultant for a global energy and carbon accounting firm, where I led the development of carbon footprint reports and decarbonization roadmaps for clients across manufacturing, commercial, and public-sector industries. Before that, I spent nearly a decade directing the energy services programs of a major regional chamber of commerce, where I guided more than 1,200 building energy assessments and helped local organizations capture over $10 million in annual energy savings.
